Just occurred to me, but if she’s a princess, where’re her parents? Princess usually implies a king and/or queen someplace.
In certain governing structures, prince/princess is the highest title available, and does not necessarily imply the existence of a king or queen as a parent. A principality – or princedom – is ruled by a prince or princess. See: the independent principalities that made up the Holy Roman Empire, for example.
