Look, it’s a secondary character that Masahiro won’t immediately stab! 😀
I’m neck-deep in preparations for Stockholm’s International Comics Festival, which is happening next weekend! If anyone’s in Stockholm on May 9-10, you should totally drop by Kulturhuset Stadsteatern and come say hi! The small-press market is a lot of fun, and there are a LOT of shiny things for sale!
I will be selling copies of my old fanzine Fathoms of the Sky (also available on Gumroad, a steal at just 4$ for 200 pages!), copies of the Freya-anthology, as well as a nice-looking print-edition of the original chapter one of Grassblades*. I’ll also be handing out shiny-looking Grassblades-themed bookmarks as freebies!
Also, I want to thank everyone who dropped by my livestream during Free Comic Book Day on Saturday! Not only did I get a lot of work done on one of my sideprojects, I also got to hang out with nice people in the chat while I was working. 🙂 I’m really hoping to livestream more regularly.
*) The first chapter being posted here is actually a combination of chapters 1+2, for purposes of better pacing and story-flow.
I’m really enjoying all the backgrounds of this town! So pleasant and gentle.
I’m sure Masahiro won’t change that peaceful tranquillity at all. No sir-ee
…no, this doesn’t make sense. I don’t see you introducing Akane, and giving her a name that we learn just to leave her here. Would he encounter orphans and leave them in orphanages? Perhaps. But as a writer myself, if this is the end of Akane, you have placed too much importance on her.
So I’m very curious as to how this will go out from here!
Oh, you’re not wrong – Akane’s part in this story isn’t over! She’s in for the long haul, try as Masahiro might to get right of her.
